designed from the inside-out, this facility focused on creating the optimal adjacency. the football center reflects a dialogue between finesse and power with its form while fitting within an extremely contained site near the edge of the ucla campus. the rich heritage of this prestigious school is layered into the spaces through a subtle but powerful sense of historic legacy, branding, and environmental graphics. identity and iconography are woven throughout the project in playful or subtle ways, helping to reinforce the ethos of ‘team’.
